The National Reference Laboratory (NRL) provides residue analyses of prohibited substances in biological matrices of animal origin and feed.

The methods applied under the scope of accreditation are listed in The Appendix to Certificate of Accreditation.

The NRL is an official laboratory for providing residue analyses within National Residue Control Plan according to Regulation (EU) 2017/625 on Official Controls in cooperation with State Veterinary Administration of Czech Republic.

The analytical techniques used in our laboratory (GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS) and methods validated according to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/808, on the performance of analytical methods for residues of pharmacologically active substances used in food-producing animals and on the interpretation of results, fulfil the EU requirements for unambiguous and reliable results for official control purposes.
